€20.00 (In Stock)

Description: In this book Rita Mattocci, another daughter of Bassiano, retraces the life and characteristic features of the work of this great intellectual, printer, and publisher, whose birth in the Lepini territory can only make us proud and perhaps also curious to discover how much of his land and his early cultural education accompanied and influenced his work, up to the realization of what has been defined as “the most beautiful illustrated book in history,” the Hypnerotomachia Poliphili printed by Aldo in 1499.
