Maria Pia Mambro, teacher and writer, has over time tried to collect testimonies and details about our Sabaudia, driven by a deep love for this land and by that sense of gratitude typical of a daughter towards her mother. She has done so with several publications on the subject and returns again today with this monograph, in which she puts down on paper new life experiences, original episodes, and unpublished information aimed at retracing the beginnings and successful developments of a twentieth-century city. The aim is not to lose track of even the slightest hint of the past, demonstrating how even a community born and characterized by the meeting of different regional backgrounds has its own history, its own traditions, and peculiarities to preserve and pass on.
